1. Clients must read and agree to Scotstoun Small Pet Boarding, (hereonafter known as SSPB) terms and conditions before boarding commences.
2. Holiday surcharges apply on select Bank Holidays. These charges are clearly laid out in the 'Prices' section of this website
3. All animals are supplied with a cage that meets the minimum size requirements for the breed. They will have fresh water, food, bedding, and stimulation.
Cages will be kept clean for the duration of the stay.
4. It is your responsibility to ensure your pet is free of mites or any other infestations prior to boarding.
5. Unwell animals and pregnant animals may be refused boarding.
6. SSPB can administer routine medication. This will be done on instruction from the client. SSPB is not liable for the decline of health or any incident in relation to the administering of medication.
7. You must collect your pet at the agreed date and time. If you are delayed, you must contact us as soon as possible. Pets not collected on time may be charged for that day.
Pets left in our care past the agreed date when the client has not been in contact will be charged twice the standard daily rate. If after 7 days you have not been in contact we will begin re-homing proceedings. Your pet, along with your details, will be handed over to the SSPCA.
You will be billed for any costs incurred. Non-payment may result in court proceedings.
8. If you decide to collect your pets before the end of the booking date you must contact us to arrange a collection time and date. Refunds are not given for early departures.
9. If your pet becomes ill in our care we will not hesitate to seek medical attention. We will always attempt to contact you first. If, however you cannot be contacted you agree that all medical decisions can be made by SSPB on your behalf and these will be made in the best interest of the animal. We will always seek the advice of a competent veterinary practitioner. The client agrees to pay any and all veterinary costs before your pet is collected. Failure to pay any incurred bills may result in court proceedings.
10. In the unlikely event of your pet becoming ill SSPB will seek medical advice and / or treatment. SSPB does not accept responsibility for your pet becoming ill or passing away whilst in our care.
11. It is possible for small pets to pass away suddenly without warning and without showing any symptoms. In the unlikely event that your pet passes away you will be notified immediately.
12. Unlike dog or cat kennels, small boarding facilities do not require a license.
All pets are left at the owner's risk.
SSPB has Public Liability Insurance and associated business related home insurance cover. As with any insurance, Terms and conditions apply. In the event that your animal becomes ill or passes away in our care and any subsequent insurance claim is declined, SSPB is released from any and all responsibility.
13. Boarding is only confirmed upon receipt of a completed Boarding Form and full upfront payment. All boarders must confirm they have read and agree to the terms and conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until these criteria are met.
14. All fees will be returned if you cancel your booking up to 8 days before the start date.
A cancellation fee of £10 will be taken if you cancel between 7 and 4 days before the start date.
50% payment will be taken if you cancel 3 days or less before the start date of your booking.
Refunds will not be given for no-shows.
15. For everyone's safety my front door and my hallway are covered by security cameras. There is also a camera covering the boarding room. No one but myself has access to the video and footage will not be used for anything other than boarding-related purposes.
