Boarding Room

---

The boarding room is a specially adapted room, situated in our home, in the G14 area of Glasgow.

The layout has been carefully chosen to give your pet the best visiting experience.

Whilst your pet will be in the same room as others, they will never come in to contact with the other animals.

Hamsters are housed in Bucatstate Small Animal Habitats, which measure 100 x 50cm.

We use a combination of tea bag bedding and dust-extracted wood shavings for the substate.

Our wheels are the wonderfully silent 30cm Heureka Marathon wheels by Rodipet.

All cages come with a sandbath and various hides, beds and so forth.

Guinea pig enclosures are made using C&C style grids. We offer 5 different sizes, details of which can be found on the 'Prices' page of this website.

We use dust-extracted wood shavings in our guinea pig enclosures. All guinea pigs are given unlimited hay, hides and enrichment as standard. We also provide fresh vegetables daily.

The lights in the boarding room are set on a timer so that your pets get used to a schedule. Alexa provides music (usually Smooth Radio!) but this can be adjusted to suit (eg Bonfire Night, New Year etc)

The room is heated or cooled to a comfortable temperature as required. We have installed an air-conditioning unit which is perfect for the warmer summer months.
